Please, take a picture, will you? (And I haven't forgotten your garden, it's
just that mine claims my attention more urgently. I'll put some pics up on
flickr soon.) Anyway, my DSIL who was with me yesterday is a great friend of
camelias and they seem to be somewhat fashionable these days since we met a
large variety there. But your climate must be really much warmer if clematis
is already flowering there. Oh, that reminds me: the bay laurel cuttings
didn't root, they all died. ;-( I hope that this isn't an omen for our
friendship.;-) However, what I didn't manage to plant I dried, so now I can
at least use it in soups etc. Made a delicious bolognese with it already.
Very good stuff! I think that higher forces just don't want me to have bay
laurel in my garden. ;-)
Gotta go, DD is awake.
U. ;-)

They do that sometimes. I'll see what my mad gardening friends say is
the best way to get them to root. There must be some sort of rooting
compound about that will do bay.
I'll try to get pix of the camelias for you. Weather was great at the
weekend, but has turned back into February now... :(
