One usually bookmarks a site to return to it when needing something. If a
company sends newsletters one doesn't need to remind one's self :-)

I'm grateful for Fred Aldous's newsletters.

OK. I have to chuckle in here, Claire. I've made enough stuffed animals
over the years to know what you meant when you said "safety eye." You
meant the hard plastic kind with the toothed ring on the inside so it can't
be pulled off and eaten (choked on) by a small child (or spoiled dog who
really likes stuffed Bunnies!!!!)

But I got the giggles anyway. Safety eye.....one that has a special latch
so it can't accidentally go off and shoot someone an evil look??? Or
perhaps...one that protects you from looking at especially displeasing
sights???

lol

Never try to teach a pig to sing. It's a waste of time and just annoys the
pig.

Until I read Claire's entire message, I was thinking of my
uncle who lost an eye in combat in WWII, and wondering if he
ever had a "safety eye". ;-}

Black fabric paint? Embroidery? A large black button?

What a lovely thought!!!!!!!!! safety against "evil eyes"

I actually want these for my new idea for bibs. I want to make bibs that
look like waistcoats for my annual country music bash in July, I wanted
to put the eyes in place of buttons as I don't think buttons would be
safe for an under 3 year old on something as close to the mouth as a
bib! I will let you know how they work out.
