I have an old Singer 4302 machine. I have the manual, but I can't find
anything out about this machine. I'm curious when it was made and other
general info. This is just for curiousity's sake, but if anyone knows
anything about this machine, please let me know.

Email Singer - there's a link on their web site - and ask them. They
will tell you the date and place of manufacture.

Three great lists on Yahoo will help with identify and dating your
machine. Singer, Vintage Singer and Wefixit. Terrific people and a
wealth of knowledge. Many Old Singer men and women on those lists.
You can find them through Yahoo Groups.

www.needlebar.com have a downloadable dating program, just put your serial
number in and the date of manufacture should pop up!
