Hi everyone, I have been wanting to make some bathing suits for myself and
the fabric stores around here really have nothing in that category. I was
looking at the new Land's End catalog and they have such beautiful fabrics.
Any online suggestions?

I have also been looking for bias tape by the roll and my favorite supplier,
www.cheeptrims.com doesn't carry bias tape at the moment!
Any reliable suppliers would be appreciated. Thanks!

Kirsten

I have ordered from fabric.com before and been pleased with their products
and customer service.

Have fun with the swimsuit projects, I have made at least a dozen suits
hrough the years and find them remarkably easy to make.

Hi Martha,
I ordered today from Laceland, a mystery package with Lycra and some other
notions I have been looking for. Now I just have to find the bias tape...
Thanks

I second www.fabric.com Love them!!! Also, you might try www.sewsassy.com
I've ordered from them several times. Always been very pleased. And if
you have a question about anything, the entire staff seems to know what
they are talking about (and all about what they are selling.) They carry
lingerie, swimwear, and dance type fabrics.

Bias tape..... You might try www.homesew.com and www.atlantathread.com and
www.nancysnotions.com I've never looked for it by the roll, so I don't
know for sure if they will have what you want.

I'd also recommend fabric.com. Sometimes Hancocks has flat fold
swim suit fabric that is quite nice - you just have to keep looking
though since they don't necessarily have it year round. One time
several years ago, I was at the Hancocks in LaCrosse, WI and I swore I
saw some of the same swimsuit fabric that was also featured in the
Lands End catalog.
