Heads up! I could not locate dark green (for Dartmouth)
Malden Mills fleece locally for the throw I'm going to make
for DGS's friend, so I googled "Malden Mills Fleece" and
found this site:
http://www.milldirecttextiles.com./

They have precut "throws" (2.25 yards of 60" genuine 200
series (midweight) Polartec®) for $17.00 (just $7.56/yard
with no added shipping cost!). That's way cheaper than I
can get it locally, even with a 30% off coupon. So I
ordered one in "Spruce" for the throw project and one in
black to use later for a jacket for me. They came today.
Yum! The green is a nice dark green, and the black will be
perfect for a light weight jacket. They measure a generous
2 1/3 yards each.

NAYY,

Beverly

Great buy, smart thinking to buy one for Fabric use.

They actually suggested that as an option when they first advertised it.
I'm on their email list.

Anybody who wants buff-background leopard print needs to go snag as much
as they will ever want now, because it's on sale now and once it's gone,
they said it will never be produced again -- and I trust them to be
honest about such things.

As far as I can tell (and I have three pieces of genuine MM
Polarfleece here to compare) the 200 weight "throw" is
identical to 200 weight "cut yards". If you can squeeze a
project out of 2.33 yards it is a considerable saving.

What a find! And great idea of getting some for yourself a jacket, too.
