Hey All,

For those who celebrate it, I wish you all a very merry Christmas. I hope
you all have a wonderful time whatever you are doing tomorrow. (And I hope
Santa is very nice to you all.)

This time of year makes me think about all the things I'm grateful for. And
everyone on this list has been on my "grateful for" list for a very long
time. I cherish you all and wish you nothing but the best.

So...

Merry Christmas and a very, very happy New Year!!!

Sharon

Never try to teach a pig to sing. It's a waste of time and just annoys the
pig.

Back atcha, darlin'! We celebrate several days over the
course of the season. I just finished hosting Christmas Eve
dinner (with wassail, fruit cocktail, oyster stew, baked
ham, potatoes, beans, finishing off with coffee/tea and
sipping cream with a huge variety of home made cookies,
candy, and nuts), so I'll spend tomorrow morning hand
washing service for 10 of DMIL's sterling flatware and Lenox
china, my mother's crystal, plus about 2,647 pots and pans.
;-} And my DDs, DSsIL and DGC all took special care in
selecting perfect gifts for me. Tonight I'm starting Steve
Martin's biography "Born Standing Up". ;-)

Tomorrow I'm invited over to older DD's for turkey with all
the trimmings after they have their family Christmas gift
opening.

Later in the week I will be joining my brother and
sister-in-law, niece and her DH, and quite possibly my
brother's new first-grandchild, for a meal and gifts.

I wish every one of my friends on alt.sewing the very
happiest of holidays, and a fruitful and peaceful New Year.

Beverly
