It's done! I found a pretty jade knit tank to wear with it
for now, I'll try to find something nicer later, I'd love a
silk charmeuse in the same shade.

I'm invited to a fundraiser tomorrow for the local Highland
Dance group, so I will be wearing it to the "Tartan Tea". I
think that's fitting, since "Paisley" is in Scotland. ;-)

Pics soon,

Beverly

Excellent!

I've been to Paisley. Ok place, but nothing special... ;)

I'm looking forward to seeing the photos. It will look good, I know, as
does everything you make.

Ok, Emily, here you go (and it's really me this time!):
http://ickes.us/default.aspx

This is my first attempt at creating my own web site, I have
a lot to figure out. I put pictures of the process as well
as me wearing the finished outfit this afternoon to the
fundraising tea. I really like how this jacket came out, I
will definitely use this pattern for more jackets.

Very well done! Both the jacket and the web page. The jacket is
gorgeous, though I did laugh a little to see the covered buttons
maintaining the pattern of the paisley, rendering those lovely buttons
invisible. The page is very elegant. A really fine job all around.
Crack a good bottle and toast yourself, please.
