What am I doing?
I'm making several "Nationals" costumes for DGD's Highland dance
teacher.
Fitted khaki-colored denim skirt for older DD, who cannot buy RTW, as
she has scoliosis, and the result is a right high-hip, and hemlines
and drape are *never* right. Once I have this pattern altered, I'll
make several more, as she has lost weight, is walking 4-5 miles a day,
and likes wearing skirts again. :-)
Nine days at the Oregon beach with same DD, her DH, and my two DGC,
in late July-early August.
Gorgeous white with large fuchsia flower print silk pajamas for said
beach trip. (Spoiling myself here.)
Overseeing prep work for exterior painting of my house. Last time, I
painted it myself, but I'm getting too old to be climbing 40 foot
ladders.
Digitizing custom embroidery designs for a friend. But he drives me
nuts, as I will spend a lot of time getting it *exactly* like he
originally describes, stitch out a sample, then he says: "Ok, but can
you change this color, add a stripe here, change the shape there...".
UGH, never again.
Hosting a patio picnic for the board of a volunteer group I'm on, so
trying to keep the yard looking its best.
No, not much, I guess... ;-)

Pass on my congratulations! I know how that feels... Got 2.5 lbs to go
to hit my WW goal, 5.5 to hit my personal goal. :D

And no-one deserves it more!

I was *always* too old for that... ;)

And you have *my* congratulations! I managed to lose about half of
what I'd like to last fall, then caved over the holidays. I'm back on
track now. I wish she and I lived closer, we could be walking
partners. As it is, my little Shih Tzu gets a work out, I'm up to
over an hour walking at least four days a week, and mowing the lawns
and yardwork on a fifth day.

Gee, thanks. I just could not pass up this fabulous silk print, and
it matches the color of a caftan-like robe I plan to use while at the
beach.

I actually did quite a bit of work on the house until the knees got
too unreliable: painted in '89, new deck in '91, re-roofed in '95...
But not now, it's just too dangerous.

Well, I know it's not much of a list compared to yours, but it keeps
me sane. ;-}
