Hi All.
I am new to the group, and would appreciate any advice that you can
give me.

I have been making some Roman Blinds for my daughters bedroom, and the
needle thread keeps getting caught around the bobbin spool causing the
spool to move out of time and jump out of its casing. This results in
a jam.

I have tried rethreading, adjusting the tension, trying a different
piece of fabric and it doesn't seem to make a difference. I have
checked that the spool and foot isn't worn down. I have a singer 6408
which is about 10 years old.

Can anybody offer any ideas?

Thanks in anticpation

Does it sew with anything other than the Roman shade project?
