I'm in the process of clearing out the tornado that I call a sewing
room! I just spent 2 hours cleaning out and organizing the 7-drawer
rolling cart that I have and I must have gotten rid of at least 10
pounds of "stuff" (end bits of thread, papers that I didn't need,
magazines for karate stuff, etc.).
I have stashed about 12 yards of fabric in the now empty plastic sewing
box that I've had for years - all of it will eventually be turned into a
summer wardrobe for Dear Niece who will be here next month and probably
stay here for the entire summer....yikes! Must get to work on it!
I have completely cleaned off the cutting table AND the sewing table
(well, still have one corner to go through, but that's all quilt blocks
that need to be put together or at least put with the fabrics for the
remaining blocks.
What can i say, I'm on a roll!!
Hopefully, I will get to bed before 1am tonight

Larisa,
I have 5 metres of lightweight "denim" that I bought sight unseen. Over
the phone I was assured it wasn't stretch denim, but on arrival it was,
so no good for the denim quilt I had planned. Would it be any good for
DN? If yes, send me your snail mail address and I'll get it onto a
kerosene canary for you.

Denim and stretch denim makes up into wonderful pants with an elastic waist.
I started doing this about 30 years ago, but haven't made any lateley
because of work and life.
