Hi again,
Does anyone in the Houston area know where I could get a transformer for my
overlock? It runs on 220V and the little transformers that Radio Shack
sells are not powerful enough (I have burned out 2). I want to avoid buying
a new one.
Or I could buy a new one if it ran on 110-220 V and take it back to Norway
with me :-)

I've ordered through these people (NAYY) and were more than helpful on their
toll free line. You might want to give them a call.

Try a computer store or sharperiamge.com.

Dan's answer was excellent and your motor on the machine my be
reconnectable to 110 volts. Ask your dealer or a good motor repair shop.
