Need to find a "source" for elastic for "camper". Judy Spottedbird 01-08-2008

Thanks to "all" of you for previous help back in the summer with ideal's for
"Mother of the Bride" clothing (for me)....soooooo many of you sent in posts
and ideals...(the wedding was held on the beach ).....so again I am coming
to this group for your "wisdom" in another matter.............
We are in the process of "remodeling" our Pop-up Camper, and I have managed
to purchase all that we need, except to find "round shaped" (tube like) that
is small and is used to go through the bottom of the "tent like ends" that
slide out on each side and then you pull the elastic through the bottom
seams to "tighten" the ends of the "tent part" of the camper ....I just
can't seem to find this SMALL, ROUND SHAPED ELASTIC anywhere for this
"purpose"...I would really appreciate it , if any one from this "sewing
newsgroup" knows of a "source" that I can purchase this type of elastic
from...........Thanks to All of you "Wizards" out there, that seem to know a
supplier for everything in the sewing business........Judy SpottedBird

Define"small". Do you mean 1/8", 1/2", or what???

Elastic shock cord is what you want to ask for (or plug into a search
engine). Outdoor Wilderness Fabrics has several sizes. Scroll down,
it's near the bottom of the page.

Have you tried cheeptrims.com? I have used them many times and if you need
alot, they are very reasonable. NAYY.
