What a find Sharon! There is something special about that first machine. I
got a Franklin Rotary from my grandmother when I was 8 or 9. I used it all
the way up until I met my husband at 28 and moved to Norway. I couldn't take
it with me so I gave it to a cousin of mine (it is in a cabinet with a knee
pedal). When I was visiting them this Christmas (14 years later), she
mentioned she still has my machine and I can have it back when I want. I
was thrilled! I still can't afford to ship it here but someday.....
