I did not, and *never have*, "posted from [the sewgirls.com
site]". Like google-groups, they archive Usenet posts. I
intensely dislike their interface, their ads, their nasty
habit of appending their site URL to massages, and their
"You must join/register to use our tools" attitude. <shrug>

Well, anybody who sends email from a Yahoo address gets a Yahoo ad at
the bottom.

You might Google around and see how to use the X-Archive: No (or
whatever it is) header to keep your posts from going to the Google
archive. That would undoubtedly also keep it from going to *holding
nose* sewgirls.
