I had to place an order with Kodak.com or they were going to
shut down my online albums. I uploaded a few of the
pictures I took on our trip to the desert SW last April so I
could order prints to keep my storage alive.

I didn't do any editing so you'll have to turn your head
sideways on a few of them.

Just now had a chance to looksee. ;) Gorgeous stuff. Can't believe
you actually got the hummingbirds!! I've tried and tried to get
pictures of ours. I have two feeders on the deck and we have a CROWD
of them around here all spring and summer. They are so fast as soon
as I think I have a shot, all I get is a blur. Good going. :)

Never try to teach a pig to sing. It's a waste of time and just
annoys the
pig.

Thanks!

I was shocked when I looked at the pictures of hummingbirds.
We stayed in a B&B in Springdale Utah, and they had several
feeders going. Early in the morning of our last day, I was
out on the porch and saw lots of activity at the feeders, so
I just shot off about 100 pics. My camera is the Nikon
Coolpix S-10, I had no hope at all that it would actually
catch the wings in mid-air. I selected those pictures
quickly using the thumbnails I'll have to take a look at the
full images to see what else I have. The hummers were all
black-chinned I think, although those two pics are of
females so hard to tell.

Very good pix of flowering cacti. Hummers are cute, too. Catching that
lizard is as impressive as catching a hummer. Your camera must be very
good. Fast shutter speed.

I bought this one before the trip to the east coast in '07:

I was impressed by several reviews, and wanted the 10X
optical zoom and 6megapixels. I like it a lot, but I had no
idea it would actually stop a hummer mid-air. I also have
another lizard we saw at Hovenweep somewhere in the pics.
Time to start sorting.
