Thank you, JPBill, for confirming what I was beginning to suspect. You
will now be joining Red Dog on my news reader.

You are just now getting around to adding him to your
filters? Wow. you have a lot more tolerance than I.
I don't pray, but I'm more than happy to offer someone my
best wishes for a complete and speedy recovery, and I don't
see any hypocrisy in that. I certainly don't feel the need
to lecture anyone already going through a tough situation.

Apparently the point is that we have at least one person who posts here
to point out our errors and to inform us how to post and what to say. I
think I am beyond needing that. I take correction from people who are
more knowledgeable and experienced than I am, not from self-appointed
guardians of Usenet correctness and morality. My enjoyment of
alt.sewing took a hit a while back when we were taken to task for
unseemly levity and off-topic posting. If you will pardon my frankness,
fuck him.

Aw, Kate, that's so good to see coming from one of my favorite people.
You know I look forward to your posts with news of your doings, and of
your family, friends, neighbors and clients. You and quite a few others
are what makes this such an important place in my cyber life.
