Beverly, I do sympathize. Same thing happened to us last summer, and we
have hardwood floors in the kitchen so we had to pull out the dishwasher to
make sure there was no standing water under it. My DH noticed that the door
seals had some lime deposits on them. He cleaned them all thoroughly and
(knock on wood) we haven't had a problem since. But never again will we
leave the DW running when we're not home.
