It really is an Amazing place isn't it? I've been a couple times. It
always feels, to me, much like walking into a church sanctuary. It is a
very moving place and just feels almost sacred there doesn't it? Cliff
Palace was always especially amazing to me. The sheer determination it
must have taken to create that place! Then you realize they not only did
it, they did it with stone tools. No jackhammers or even modern sledge
hammers. Then to realize the climbs they had to make to get to food, etc.
Amazing people.

So glad most of the whole trip was great!!! And glad too you didn't have
trouble with your knees!!!! YAY!!!!!!!! I guess all of us thinking
pain-free thoughts helped. ;) That was wild too about the folks on the
plane with you. It really is a small world.

Glad you're home. And so very glad you had such a great time. Back to the
sewing room with you now, woman!!!! lol

Never try to teach a pig to sing. It's a waste of time and just annoys the
pig.

Yes, and I felt the same at Rainbow Bridge. We were all
caution to treat the area as a sacred place.

Indeed! Looking at the present day site, I was just in awe
of anyone who could eke out a living there. It appears to
not have enough top soil or water to sustain a largish
population. Of course, that may very well have been what
caused their sudden migration.

It was just so amazing, to have those three guys right in
the same area of the plane. They could have been scattered
all over, I never would have known.

First I have to catch up on yard/garden work, then sewing.

Thanks! For my next trip to that area, I will try to have
time for at least 4-5 days at each major park. There is
just too much to see to squeeze it into 2 days. This was a
very nice first taste.
