I'm off today to my cousin's home south of here to celebrate
the Bicentennial Brown Family Reunion. We have pamphlets
and pictures from the original, held in Ohio in 1909. My DD
and cousin have done lots of research, and we have family
members (long lost cousins) coming from all over the
country.
Thank [deity] it will be cooler today, this past week has
been beastly. I was painting my living room on the two days
it was well over 100F.
DSIL's father has recovered enough to be sent home from the
hospital, so DSIL feels comfortable getting my flooring
started tomorrow. I rented the flooring nailer and bought
nails yesterday, so we're good to go. Yippee! AND it's
expected to be cooler this week with thunderstorms mid-week.
;-)
And to bring it back to sewing, I will be wearing the
"almost-a-dustrag-because-of-the-serger-bite" shirt. I'll
see if DD will take a picture of it for me.
