I am leaving Saturday morning to visit my youngest two DGD in SC, and their
parents, of course. I will not be online again till next week.
The younger one is already 3&1/2 months old, so you Grandmoms know how
anxious I am to see her for the first time. Yesterday, I heard her
"talking" to her Dad while he was feeding her.
There are several items I need to complete, so I'll be busy getting them
finished them tonight and tomorrow. But since we can only check one piece
of luggage, I may not be able to take everything with me.
Enjoy your sewing and I'll talk to you later.

Thanks, Juno, I'm sure we will. It's been almost 3-years since I've seen
the older one, and the closer the time, the more excited both DS & I are.
I wasn't going to get online anymore till next week, but we had a severe
thunderstorm this afternoon and since it's moving NE of here, I decided to
check the SC weather.
I didn't finish the bibs, etc. I was working on because of the storms, but
at least, we had no straight-line winds or hail like Austin and the Hill
country.
Till later,
Emily

Emily, have a wonderful time! Give those darling girls hugs
from all your online friends, too.
What airline only allows one checked bag? Have you
investigated how much it would cost to check a second? Or
ship a box ahead of time?

Thanks for the thoughts, Beverly.
I believe it is $25-30 to check the 2nd bag on Continental; I thought I
would go first and ship a box with the items I have plus their Easter things
all at once.
The girls will get bigggg hugs from both their uncle & Gramma.
