Figured I'd better check in, besides just lurking in the background.
Just want to thank all of you for the prayers, good thoughts and well
wishes. I really can't understand why my son hasn't been found, unless, as
the detective in charge of the case says, perhaps he doesn't want to be
found. There have been no sightings for some time now.
They (my son and daughter-in-law) have had many problems in their life.
Yet, if it is true that he had been seen and spoken to at one point, the
person in question was talking a bit "off center". I just hope nothing
untoward has happened to him. I just wish he would realize that his mother
cares and needs to know he is OK, even if he is "in hiding".
I have gone to my Dr due to other family stresses going on for me as
well, and she, believe it or not, has added my son and my family to a number
of prayer chains that she is involved with. Never had a Dr relay any kind
of belief in prayer before. That is so uplifting also. She, too, is a
blessing for me. Just wish we could get my body functioning properly again.
Thanks again, everyone, you are all so special. It is so unbelievable
that so many care that don't even know me. All are truly a blessing. Can't
thank everyone enough.
God bless,
Marlys in Indiana

Marlys I am so glad that you let us know what has been going on......for a
few days I have been wanting to post that you should keep in touch with the
group, but I wasn't sure if it was proper ettiquette........(Just decided I
don't care about ettiquette for this type of thing anymore, I will just post
if I am concerned about someone.......)

I am sorry that your son is still missing, I wish you all the best.

Thank you for the update. I am very sorry the news is no better, and
that your health problems continue. I will continue to keep you all in
my thoughts, and keep hoping that you get news of your son soon.

It rather looks like your son's continued absence is deliberate, even if
his vanishing was unplanned at the time he went. I pray you get news
and peace of mind soon.

Thank you for taking the time to update us.
Like the others I had been wondering what the latest news was.
Still hoping you get some real news soon.

Perhaps to a fault I am an eternal optimist and I just KNOW he will
make his way back in his own good time.
It sure makes Mamas sick with worry in the meantime though...so I
continue to think of you often and keep you in my prayers.
