It was a cute movie. http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0091790/ Came out when I
was in high school. John Cryer is on that show Two and a Half Men with
Charlie Sheen. (I don't watch the show; it's pretty goofy.) In Pretty in
Pink, his character was the total goofball, oddman out type. He dressed
oddly. (even for the mid-1980's he dressed oddly.)
That "tux" he wore for the

was just classic "Duckie." Although, now that I look again, he is wearing
black shoes. Duckie wore these horrible, nearly worn out, once-white shoes
through most of the movie.
