It's certainly not everything I have made, but I was putting together some
pictures of things I've made out of this and that and sewn together, and
put them up on FrugalSewing.com. You can get there from the front page or
you can go directly to the gallery using this URL -

I'm trying to illustrate how you don't have to spend a lot of dough to sew.
I met a young lady this weekend who knits and it was SO good to meet a
young person who is getting into the fiber arts, regardless of what realm.
I worked also with a woman who sews 18th century items for a living and it
was so interesting discussing various sewing techniques and ways they saved
money and time back then. She had some gorgeous photos with her. I could
easily be swayed to do that type of sewing!

Hi Donna,
I started looking at the pictures of your stuff. I love the paddington
quilt. But then my machine had trouble uploading (or downloading) all the
pictures because there were so many of them. I will try again later when I
have time to wait for the machine.

Maybe I should break them down into categories? I have more stuff to put
up. I like just keeping a record of what I'm doing. I'll think about
categorizing them because I know there are about 132 pictures right now.
Hmmmm.... thanks for the feedback!

Nice website, Donna! It's good to be reminded of all the possibilities
of recycling.

Thanks, Doreen. I'm pretty practical when it comes to sewing. I do buy
fabrics when I want them (I have a HUGE black and white fabric collection),
but I really prefer making something out of recycled fabrics or fabrics
that need a home.
