I certainly agree with you on that! It's not a normal sleep, and those
little pills are addictive. If you ever have the opportunity, try one
of the air-massage bathtubs -- not jacuzzi, which is a water jet -- some
people report that the gentle massage and heat of the water helps them
to get normal sleep. Maybe a hotel or B & B might have one you could
"test drive."

There have been advances in physical therapy, so perhaps you will have
some success there. I surely hope so.
