Well, not that comfortable to sleep on, not by itself. It is 4" foam,
but its not foam rubber. Its that fire retardant foam Hancocks sells.
I'm a side sleeper, and all my bony parts sort of hurt when I"m
camping. With this on the bottom and my self-inflating pad on top, I'll
probably be ok.
