Would anyone know what I could do to encourage my custom made roman shades
to fold flat and even as they are lifted? The ones I've made to date are
all fabric and even with duck cloth the client is having to hand fold them
as they are raised.
Thank you,

With the shades I've made, it seemed to depend on the fabric. Some
liked to fold, others did not. For the really ornery ones, I resorted
to tacking a strip of boning right above each row of rings that guided
the lift cords. This gave a crease point for the fabric and seemed to
help a lot.
