Hi, I'm looking for some good fabric with which to have this dress made:
http://www.flickr.com/photos/flickrsy/2490812058/ PS: I'm still looking
for that special seamstress!

I could just use regular satin or silk, but the problem with that stuff
is: One hangnail, and forget it. it's totally ruined. I'm spending too
much on this dress to risk that, especially since I, the hangnail QUEEN,
will be wearing it. =D

So what I'm thinking is perhaps a heavy, woven or knit fabric that has
some nice sheen to it, reminiscent of satin, but able to withstand minor
snags like hangnails and either not snag, or when snagged, you can cut off
the snagged bits and the fabric still looks nice.

It would need to be solid powder blue, or similar, and not have an
embossed design, or too much texture to it.

I have no idea where to start! Any ideas for me? IF YOU REPLY, please
reply to this email address, or I probably won't see it =/

Thank you SO much!

What begins in the ng, stays in the ng. It's rude to
request a private answer to a publicly posted question.

And you had to post your message twice, because....?????
