I have a book entitled "Sewing Machine Repair for the Home Sewer" that is
written in generic style and covers nearly all the bobbin, needle, thread
problems there are. I've had this book for 10 years and have never had to
take my machines to the repair shop. The book can be found at

I purchased their serger repair book several years ago, it was a huge
waste of money; my calls and emails to them went unanswered so they're
not very good on the support end of things either.

I'm so glad I'm not the only one. There was something about the couple of
OPs that irked me.
