My younger DD is going on a driving tour of northern CA, and
bought a couple of nice T-shirts, even though they had 3/4
length sleeves. Another favorite knit shirt needed to have
the coverstitch replaced where it had come out in the hem.
So I threaded up the BL coverstitch, chopped off the sleeves
and hemmed them and repaired the third shirt.

Well, at least it FELT like sewing! I was actually in the
sewing room for 45 minutes and had the iron heated and
everything! ;-}

The house painters finished up Wednesday, I have a plumber
coming Monday to replace a bunch of the horribly corroded
galvanized pipe, and THEN I will start a major sewing
project. Maybe some of that gorgeous black, silver & gold
Slinky I bought just before going to Nashville, it will make
a terrific holiday outfit.
