Has anyone every done any sewing of tulle on a machine?
I need to put an edging on a bridal veil for my daughter.
If I could do it by machine in stead of by hand, I would
really be able to get it done so much faster.
Any and all suggestions welcome.

If you have an overlocker (serger) why not do a rolled hem with rayon
thread? You could use fishing line within the rolled hem to give added
body to the edge.

Hope this helps?

I can attest to this method; I've serged tulle on my serger with a
rolled hem, it came out great.

I did this project last year. Bought a foot to guide the ribbon and still
had problems with the tulle not laying flat. I did it twice and then cut
the ribbon off and ended up using fabric glue. Veils in bridal stores are
either sewn or glued.

Overlocking a rolled hem would be nicest, if you could find someone with an
overlocker
