wondered if you could help me.

My mum has had the above sewing machine all my life. (i think it was a
wedding present in the 70`s, )
its fantastic made me many clothes (and mended too many too count!) and
taught me and my brothers how to sew.

But my small problem. she needs bobbins for it. but no one seems to
have heard of this machine. I will be popping into a singer shop over
the weekend. but in case i fail there. can anyone recommended somewhere
i can go to get her what she needs.

partly so she can mend my curtains! <grin>

Ask on one of the Singer sites. Probably you can get them from one of
the members here

Hi Shaz,

Based on it being a 70s era Singer machine, it will be one of two types.
Take a look at where the bobbin goes, and:

..if the bobbin sits horozontally - it basically 'drops' into the bobbin
mechanism - what you need are class 66 bobins. =20

..if, instead, the bobbin sits vertically in the machine, that is, you
set it into a bobbin case, accessible from the side of the bed to
access it, then you need class 15.

-Irene=20

You only live once, but if you do it right, once is enough.=20

You want two-piece Singer Touch & Sew bobbins. They should not be hard
to find.
