I'm watching HSN this morning and they're presenting the Singer CG-590
Commercal Grade sewing machine. I've not been too happy with some of
the things I've bought from HSN before and I was wondering if anyone
has this machine or knows anything about it and what you have to say
about it. Is it really heavy duty and reliable?

They don't sell them here in the UK, so I can't tell from
personalexperience. However, I'd probably be more tempted by this:

Is a low end machine in a heavy metal body so they claim it is commercial
grade.
Poor choice of machines

Ron is the expert and hardly needs any second motions.

But i second what Ron said if you do not already know what an
expert Ron is.

I looked at one of those machines and just like Ron says it looks
like the insides of some plastic singer machine and they puy it
inside the shell of a tank with a hammer metal paint finish to
give the illusion of an industrial like machine. I am sure you
will find nothing on the box or literature that hints at
industrial. The "commercial" marketing moniker is suppose to
conjure that idea in your head. It did have me hooked until i
looked at one up close.

run away waste your money on a useful machine.

Listers. . . .

Thank you so much for the feedback on this machine. As a matter of
fact, I'm relieved to hear it or my lack of self control would have
led me to purchase it because it looked sooo good.

You da best!!
