You're sitting on a plane holding the new designer handbag that you
just purchased when the woman sitting next to you informs you that your
new $500 purse is a fake! Ouch!
Embarrassing situations like this happen every single day as
unsuspecting shoppers get ripped off buying replica purses, handbags
and more.
Unfortunately, if you are shopping online there is a very high chance
that you'll become a victim sooner or later.

Only if you are willing to spend an obscene amount of money on a handbag
or purse based on whose initials are displayed, or some twisted idea
that there is value in a bag that costs more than the mortgage payment.

Personally, I don't see the attraction. The "designer" purses I've seen
have all been butt-ugly. My own choices run under $20 and are bought
for function, not status.

I much prefer (and am proudest of) the purses/handbags I make. Esp. when
someone comments on it. :>)

Ditto here! I like the ones *I* make with the pockets *I* want, where *I*
want them! I put the pockets on the lining before attaching it to the outer
fabric. Same for our billfolds. Which reminds me, it's about time I made
new ones for DH and myself.
