I was spending about an hour-and-a-half in the
sewing/laundry room this afternoon, nursing a dye-job in the
washer, so I decided to make use of the time. I need a
spring suit, so I dug through the stash and found almost 5
yards of very well matured navy rayon/linen blend, 64" wide,
pre-washed, with a little note about which pattern I
intended to use (two pair of pants and a jacket), and with
three cards of buttons and two 9" zippers attached.

I used the pants pattern I altered last summer (vogue 2532
view E, without the cuffs), and have one pair cut out, darts
sewn, front creases pressed, and the fly interfaced and
ready to insert the zipper tomorrow. I may decide on a
different jacket pattern from the one I originally had in
mind, but I have plenty of fabric. TSWLTH is having a nice
sale tomorrow, all I need to buy is some lining fabric.

Gotta love mature stash. ;-)
