Has anyone heard of the above machine and is it the same as the Toyota
SL3314. I am looking for a machine in this catogary and would like some
advice hear are a few I have looked at: Necchi 150 Overlocker, Janome 204D
and 744D and the Frister & Rossmann Epochlock Overlocker. I,ve seen an
SL3334 but could find no further reference of it on any english speaking
site on Google but it looked like the 3314. I would like as much advice
before purchase as I can get please.

It should be just fine. I have a Toyota SL3404E, which is excellent
(has 'lay in' threading rather than the dials on the front). I bought
this pre-loved as a stop-gap machine a couple of years back when my main
machine was in the shop for a jamming problem, and this little Toyota
(the second Toyota overlocker I have owned) is a tough little machine.
Copes well with everything from chiffon to polar fleece.

I haven't liked the Janome's since one danced off the table into my lap,
and while the F&R is a joy to thread and clean, It isn't as tough as the
Toyota, and tends to be a tad more expensive. My Toyota is largely
metal cased. My old one (a three-thread, also pre-loved) now works for
my sister and is still going strong. If you get it for less than £150,
you have a real bargain! :)
