Take care of yourself. Don't do anything you don't have to do.

Like typing.

Oh dear, sorry to hear that. Nasty doings, indeed, all this squeezing. I bet
Mary Fisher is right, bluish-purplish is the colour of your hand now. Take
care and resist the temptation of doing anything, it'll just delay the happy
moment you're well again. I know, I was suffering from tendosynovitis in my
right wrist this summer, and because I didn't/couldn't rest properly (you
tell me how with a newborn to care for) it didn't go away until near
Christmas (which was when I twisted the very same wrist to keep myself from
falling/slipping down a staircase). Now I'm fine, only that I twisted my
left ankle yesterday, falling down, dropping DD. :-( She didn't get hurt, I
let go of her only when I hit the ground myself, and then she was only a
hand from the ground. She didn't even have a bruise, though she screamed a
good deal. Fortunately my AP was there, as was my mother, so we were both
taken care of immediately. DD's pupil reflex was checked and declared OK,
and we were both administered homoeopathic stuff that helped a good deal.
Arnica jelly on my ankle helped, too, but still, not exactly what one might
wish for. Hey, my mind is wandering again, sorry. Be a good friend and give
your sewing time to Kate. ;-)

U.

Fading to a nice shade of yellow-green now. No infection, so
I'm ready to dispense with the dressing and ice and get back
to work.

I'm so glad both you and DD are ok, that was very scary!
