I've been too busy sewing, cleaning and cooking to post.
I have a few projects to finish up before starting on my baseball hats.
I'm almost finished with my City Bag. It had been on hold while my
machine had repairs and I stopped traveling back and forth to Cape Cod
for a few days. It just needs a little handwork and I was too tired to
finish today. It the third Lazy Girl purse I've made. I think it's the
best one I've done. Not great but not bad. That way I always have room
for improvement. lol
I also drafted a pattern for a 6 gore skirt I hope to cut out tomorrow
and sew Saturday.
I've been cleaning because my house is in great need of TLC and cooking
because I'm having guest Friday. I'm having what I refer to as Greek
Diner Night. Lots of garlicky food and lots of parsley to counteract the
garlic.

supervising a family crew laying hardwood flooring in her
living room. The next-to-the-last bit got done today, DSIL
is taking several pieces home to rip for the edge against
the wall.

Then I'm going to lightly sand, stain and put low-gloss
Varathane all the baseboards before putting them back. I
painted the walls before we began, there are just a couple
of dings to fix. Then my other DD and DSIL are coming over
to help move all the furniture back into place and hook all
the electronics up.

Whew! It's been a hot, tiring process, but it looks
FABULOUS!!! I'm going to shop next week for an area rug to
anchor the furniture grouping, then relax for at least a
week.

Great! Now I'm torn between going to Juno's to eat garlicky Greek food
(and pass on the parsley) and going to Beverly's to drool on the new
hardwood floor. I think the food is calling to me a leeetle bit
louder....... Love Greek food! Kalamata olives?
