Sure is quiet around here when Beverly is out of town.

A thought, and not a good one, from a lurker.

Maybe everyone is on pins and needles waiting for her return.

She's baaaaaacccckkkkk! ;-)

I am not allowed into the dressing room area, so DD took a
couple of pictures for me of DGD in the new kilt. I
finished it at 9:30PM on Friday, (the darned fiddly hand
work always takes way more time than I estimate it will) and
delivered it to them Saturday AM at 7:45AM.

I had re-set all my clocks for daylight savings time, but
failed to get my alarm on the correct 12 hours, so my alarm
didn't go off. I awoke at 7:15, horrified, as I was
supposed to be at their place at 7:00. Jumped into my
clothes and made a mad dash across town, we left about 30
minutes late from Portland, but arrived in plenty of time
for DGD's first dance. Whew. DGD placed *first* in one
dance and second in three, her best competition as a
Premier dancer, so it was a very successful day.

We drove three hours through a MONSOON getting to the venue,
then another three hours through an even worse storm getting
back home. I had another event on tap today, so I'm just
now checking newsgroups. I do wish you all would keep up
