Hello everyone,
I fell in love with some fabric on FabricDirect.com, and I'm dying to
order it.

However......

I did a little research, and googled "fabricdirect" to find quite a few
people have had problems receiving their shipments from them (i.e. LATE
shipments, little-to-no customer service, soiled fabric).

Basically, I wanted to know if anyone would share their fabricdirect
stories with an online-fabric-purchasing novice like me...

I'd greatly appreciate it:)

If FabricDirect has it, likely other shops will, as well. Buy from someone
without such negative comments. :)

I very seldom recommend a place of business, but in the past 4-5 years, I
make an exception when speaking of fabric. If E-Quilter, www.equilter.com
has what you are looking for, you can be assured of their excellent service
as well as the merchandise. Paul Rubin, co-owner, used to post on this
group several years ago; I suppose there is no time now that the business is
growing so rapidly. I've been well satisfied with all I've ordered from
them; they are very generous when cutting and they also include a couple
samples of other fabrics in the order. I receive a weekly online newsletter
from them, detailing new arrivals in fabric, books, etc.
I am only a very happy customer, not affiliated with the business in any
way..
