Hey folks--
How do you stash your UFOs and "must mend someday" projects?

I am presently working on some life maintenance issues, and find that
my process for storing mending and UFOs is, uh, haphazard. Right now I
have "fix up for Mardi Gras" wardrobe pieces laid over the backs of the
dining room chairs. This was fine in early February...they are next to
the sundresses (!!) needing pockets and the Ebay summer (!!!) dress
that I'm rehabbing.

Thinking about one of those soft-sided laundry baskets (mesh, folds
up) because I could load it in side-to-side layers (rather than
strata). Want something portable (unlike dining chairs) to keep items
out of the grasp of kitties.

What do you do? Thanks for ideas!

I use plastic hobby boxes/cubes. They stack nicely and will fit into a
cupboard as well. You can write on the outside or stick inventory items
on them.Hey, you could even prioritise them if you were that much of a
control freak.
I usually put an old calendar on the top to keep out the dust/kitties.
Or else just buy one box and put the kitty under it?

Well, I had cleared off a space on my shelf for them and a plastic basket on
my sewing table but they outgrew both of those and are now threatening to
take over the whole table. So whatever you do, keep a lid on it!

Lidded see-through plastic boxes that stack! For smaller projects
(normal size dresses) the medium Clearview boxes from Lakeland work a
treat. They come in several sizes, from tiddly to massive! :)

NAYY, just a happy customer for over 20 years! (One of my favorite
postal/on-line/high-street stores.)
