I saw this pajama top in the LL Bean catalog, and I'm wondering if
anyone knows of a pattern for something similar.

It's a pullover top, with no fasteners, raglan sleeves, and princess
seams. You might have to zoom in to see the details better.

It looks both comfortable and flattering, unlike straight t-shirts that
make me look boxy. I love princess seams, but I've never seen them in a
stretch fabric before. I could try to adapt and combine some of my
t-shirt patterns with some of my princess-seamed, button-front tops, but
it might be quite a challenge, especially since the princess tops aren't
sized for stretch fabrics.

Any ideas, or does anyone know of a pattern like this? I've done an
online search of all the pattern brands I can think of and found
nothing. I don't have easy access to a real fabric store, so my only
search has been online. Suggestions?

Thank you.

Or this:

http://kwiksew.com/Catalog/cat_detail.cfm?pid=3567 not
exactly "princess seams" but close.

Put on a t-shirt you've made with the pattern you want to modify, and
pin in darts until you get the shape you are after. Measure the
pinned-in darts to see how far apart to draw the princess seams, and
where to taper them into a single cut. Use princess-seamed top
patterns only to get a general idea of the shapes you want to cut a
copy of the T-shirt pattern into.

Leave out the seam allowances when you copy the pattern, then put them
back on after you've cut the pattern into pieces.

You may want to pin in darts at pre-existing seams too.

If your T-shirt is shorter in front, you need bigger darts. You can
lengthen the front pattern by slashing and spreading -- after
measuring how much shorter the old T-shirt is in front -- and then add
a dart to restore the seam line to its original length.

When you beta the pattern in cheap fabric, make sure it has the same
stretch as your dress-up fabric.
