Does anyone happen to have a Viking model 564R machine? I am being
offered one for free from a fellow student and I am tempted to get it
(I will take a test run on it first) but I'm curious if it is a decent
machine and if its worth having some maintenance done on it? I am a
student so I can't afford to buy a new machine, $200 and up, even $100
and up is simply out of my budget.
Thank you,
Shaynelle

Free? Take it. If it doesn't work out for you, you can pass it along.

Well, somebody just paid $350, plus $55 shipping, for this model on
eBay. Vikings have, historically, been very good machines. If
somebody was going to give it to me, I'd sure take it!

The machine didn't come with a manual and I had no clue how to use it.
Is there a place I can order old sewing machine manuals from? I've
checked with the places I found on google but none of them seemed to
have this particular model.
Thank you!
