I have no idea what it could be, but I have taken clothing with fabrics
of unknown type to the fabric store and asked a very knowledgeable
employee there (note: not all of them are really knowledgeable) what
type of fabric it is, and she usually has been able to tell me.
Maybe if you could find a picture of it in a catalog or post it on a web
site somewhere, people could be of more help. What you have could be
anything from slinky to Sparkle to whatever.
