I'm going to make a camisole. It is to wear under sheer blouses. I
will be wearing outdoors in the hot sun for several hours at a time, so
I want to use a cool fabric. What would that be?

You would need a fabric that breathes. I would make it of either 100%
cotton (my choice) or 100% linen, but not synthetic linen which is in all
likelihood partially polyester.
