Birds are "heavier than air".

Tell that to the pterodactyls.

Thank you for your reply. I spent the morning hunting for a pterodactyl
and couldn't find one. Could you direct me to one, or send me one so
that I may engage in discussion with it? From your comment, I gather
that they understand English, but do they also speak it?
If god had meant for man to fly, she would have given us wings.
Excuse me now, I am still trying to figure out how bumblebees fly. It's
clearly impossible given their body weight and the size of their wings.

I'm sorry to report that they neither speak nor understand
"English".

It's magic.

I am conversant with punk rock, but the people with the bones do not
have wings, they've got some bony problems there. I found
http://spedr.com/2f1h on Google, but I've got some doubts about
authenticity.
I don't know about magical bees. Regal, maybe, since they have a queen,
but I'm not convinced about the existence of magic.

"Any sufficiently advanced technology is indistinguishable
from magic."
Arthur C. Clarke, "Profiles of The Future", 1961 (Clarke's
third law)
I'm pretty sure the device you are using to relay your
messages would be perceived as "magic" to some newly
discovered Neolithic tribe.
