Hi everyone,
Hoping someone can give me advice on how to deal with a bleach
spot on the upper front thigh on a nice pair of dressy dark blue
jeans. It is about the size of a quarter. I don't want to put a patch
or anything over it or add more bleach spots. Would using fabric paint
work to disguise it work? Any brand you would recommend?
Thanks in advance for any help you can give!

Remember that part of the appearance of denim is the blue warp and white weft--
so if you just glob some paint on it, it won't look like the rest of the
fabric. My usual method is to take a Pantone or similar marker of the
right color and retouch just the blue warp threads. Takes a steady hand
and perhaps some magnification and some patience.

Thanks for the ideas. I think I'll try a dark blue Sharpie first. It
is such a dark blue denim there isn't much white weft noticable.
