Thanks to the tips here, I put that I had bought a machine in the past
two years -- I did, but it was a very old machine - and got the extra
questions. I have a feeling that I may have skewed the results a bit -
listing all the brands of machines that I have..... hehehe

That's what I finally discovered let me take the balance of
the survey. My most recent SM purchase was the embroidery
machine. Let's see, my memory is failing, wasn't it just a
couple of years ago? And the latest serger was won in 2005.
Ooops! ;->

LOL Well I own five sewing machines, all Singers of various
vintages, three sergers, and a coverstitch machine. Good
thing they didn't ask about irons and presses.... or
scissors....

Only 5? Could I interest you in a few more? Do you need a Singer 66?
A 99? How about a 301? I've got several of each of those. Two 201s -
or do I have 3? You can't have my Wilcox & Gibbs, or any of the Pfaffs.
I would part with the Thompson Walking-foot machine, though.

Well, I don't know, do you "sew" or do you "craft"
"scrapbook" "bead jewelry", etc. It seems to me that most
of the TSWLTH real estate has been turned over to craft
items, "silk" flowers, garden pots, holiday kitsch, and that
very little is devoted to fabric, notions, interfacing, etc.
needed by those who "really sew". My comment was intended
to encourage those who need a real fabric store to take the
survey in hopes of directing TSWLTH back to being a fabric
store (which is what they were several years ago). YMMV
