not really OT since I was there to try and sell the fleece sleeping
bags that I make. Really, I just wanted to get my card out and
hopefully that will bring in more business. However, I *did* sell 2
bags which covered the space rental <grin>. One of them was to the
grandmother of a classmate of DD and the other was to another
crafter. I have paid for next spring's fair as well as for the
upcoming one in November.....but that one is questionable because they
are canceling the December one and combining it with the November
one. So we will see what happens. Either way, I will be adding
infant/toddler bedding to both shows.

Woohoo!!

Larrisa,

Combining Nov & Dec fairs isn't necessarily a bad thing. I do quite a
lot of Christmas fairs / expositions in Nov and they work pretty well
even when they are early. It could be a thing to put up a notice
stating that it's their last chance before Christmas.

At the moment I am waiting with my fingers crossed to see if we will get
a place on a very presidgious( wish I could spell) exhibition in the
centre of Paris on the 3 to 7th of Dec, it's in between the Louvre
museum and the place de la Concorde!!! How terrifying is that. I have
sent off the dossier just have to wait until May to find out.

Ah well back to more mundane things, flower shaped bibs for the spring
fairs.

well, nothing sold today, which is actually fine as I did give out
more cards.

Talked with one of the ladies in charge to find out about November,
and she remembered all the confusion about this fair, so she
remembered me (which is a good thing - make friends with the people in
charge!!). She asked if I had already paid for November and when I
said I did she smiled and said that it would be taken care of...and
she made sure that I turned in the money for next spring as well.

So, looks like it's all a go. Nancy (friend) didn't sell anything, so
I feel a little bad, but not too much. She wants to make candy and
soaps for the next fair...not sure how that will work out, but
whatever. We'll have 2 tables, so she can put whatever she wants on
one and I'll have the bags and bedding on the other table.

Larisa, tired....very very tired
