hello everyone--
i've been contemplating buying a dress form...and am wondering...are
they really useful? what brands? things you like, dislike?
i'm a plus sized chunk, and am starting to sew more for
myself...simple jackets, would like to try some show shirts (for the
western world). I do OK when I'm sewing for my daughter...i can just
hang the garment on her...but for me, it's a bit harder.
any thoughts would be welcome...thank you!

I have one of these for my larger customers:

I also have them in other sizes, including the male form and Junior. I
find them very good, but you still have to get an exact fit on the real
body. They are very useful when checking that sleeves hang correctly,
collars are even and hems level as well as giving a reasonable idea of fit.
