G'day Ruth

Anyone who owns an embroidery machine will say the model they have is
the best........lol!

For me that is Janome, for several reasons. Janome does 'not' have a
separate embroidery module that is just as heavy and bulky as the
machine itself, this will be a big consideration if you will be taking
your machine to class or travelling, even storage at home. Secondly, I
like the stitch quality and ease of use. I've had Janome machines for
many years and currently own two embroidery/sewing machines. If you
already own a sewing machine that you are happy with, then the 300E
model which is embroidery only is a good option, because while it is
doing embroidery you will still have your other machine to continue
sewing on another project. Take it from someone who didn't think this
was important and found out the expensive way....lol!

The new TOL Janome 11000 has just been released and although I haven't
yet had a demo on it I expect it will be one fantastic machine with it's
telescopic embroidery arm allowing you to do much larger designs.

Most model machines are catered for in Yahoo or MSN groups so it might
be an idea to join one once you've narrowed your choices. Hope this helps?
Bronwyn ;-)

The analogy I use at work (we sell a limited selection of sewing
machines at Hancock) is that it's like guys and pickup trucks. Do NOT
try to sell a Chevy to a Ford guy...no matter how good the Chevy, he
wants a Ford. And most women are the same about sewing machines. I
have a particular brand I like best, and I tell people up front I'm
prejudiced. Just because that particular brand is the best we offer
has NOTHING to do with it <G>
